I’m overwhelmed at how much I enjoyed the Netherlands. Overwhelmed is actually an understatement, because I can’t stop thinking about our time there. I wasn’t expecting to love Amsterdam as much as I now do.

It’s a quaint, artistic city with an intricate canal system and a severe bike culture. It’s obviously well known for many things that are not legal in other cities, but are very legal here (prostitution and weed being just two of them), but even beyond those forms of enjoyment – Amsterdam is the bomb.

We liked it so much, we’d go back in a heartbeat.

Rent the same Airbnb, or try out a houseboat on one of the canals. Do our best to keep up with the locals in the bike lane. Eat at the restaurant we loved. Gawk at Dutch houses and buy cheese at the market, and just get lost wandering the cobblestone streets and bridges.
