Postcards from: Tuscany, Italy
Tuscany is a region in central Italy that is rich in history, architecture, food and art. Our Italian adventures brought us to this region for barely 24 hours.
Anyone who has ever been to Tuscany knows this is not nearly enough time. We could have spent a full 4 days exploring the cities and landscapes.
But in our short amount of time we managed to see most of the major sites and landmarks. Luckily the trains are easy to navigate and Florence itself is small enough to be seen by foot!
To sum up where we visited: the leaning tower of Pisa, the Duomo Basilica of Florence, Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens.
To sum up what we ate: cappuccino, pizza, gelato and vino. The basic diet when visiting Italy. No complaints here ;)
We might not have seen The David or had time to go inside the Uffizi Gallery, but more of a reason to return soon!
