Must-See in NYC: 12 Sites Everyone Should Visit
The city of New York is a one-of-a-kind wonder; a destination that provides so much to see and do. I’m lucky enough to call it my home, yet there’s still landmarks that I haven’t visited!
The Big Apple is not just known for one or two popular sites, but for 100 (at least). The different places, buildings, neighborhoods and sites that make up this city are all iconic and seemingly breathtaking whether you’re a native New Yorker, newcomer or first-time visitor.
Sites that everyone should visit to really immerse themselves in the lifestyle of this over-crowded, amazing little slice of the United States. It’s hard to believe that so much can be crammed into such a small area… banks and shops, parks and zoos, flashing lights, skyscrapers, restaurants for every cuisine, churches, bridges, artifacts and so much more.
Not sure where to start? These are my top 12 must-sees in NYC:
1 – Grand Central Terminal.
2 – The Statue of Liberty.
3 – The Empire State Building.
4 – Central Park.
5 – Times Square.
(source)
6 – St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
7 – Brooklyn Bridge. Eat some good grub once you cross over to BK!
8 – The American Museum of Natural History.
9 – Macy’s Herald Square.
10 – The Flatiron Building.
11 – The New York Public Library.
12 – The Highline.
There is way more to see in New York than just the 12 locations on this list… sites like Radio City Music Hall, Bryant Park, Madison Square Garden and South Street Seaport, just to name a few.
But as a starting point, this should serve as a solid hit-list of iconic sites to see in NYC!
Oh I love NYC! Your post has got me feeling nostalgic! Can’t wait to go back one day :)
